My name is Milan Petrović, I am living in Niš, the third largest city in Serbia, and I am a father of two. As an experienced Serbian language teacher, mentor, and trainer, my expertise lies in educational innovation. Since graduating with a degree in Serbian language, I have dedicated myself to helping others master it. I bring a unique blend of skills from my roles as an editor in chief at a local radio station and as the owner of a B2B company that designs and implements educational solutions.
Teaching is my passion, driven by a fascination with how we communicate and understand each other. I emphasize the importance of message clarity and precision in my Serbian language classes, using digital tools to create a modern and engaging learning environment. This approach ensures that students not only learn the language but also enjoy the process.
I understand that learning a foreign language can be challenging, especially with the rich culture, history, and customs embedded in the Serbian language. That’s why I advocate for early guidance from a language tutor to navigate these complexities efficiently. Through a personal approach, I take the time to get to know my students, tailoring lessons to their unique needs and helping them master the language structure effectively.
My name is Marija Bukvić. In terms of profession, I hold a degree in philology, but if you were to ask me what I do... Well, I could describe it in one word: communications. The idea of how we communicate with each other, how we transmit a message, and how we understand it is what attracts me to delve deeper into this topic. That's why, as a Serbian language teacher, I emphasize that our goal is to convey a message, and through our lessons, we refine the language levels to make that message as understandable and detailed as possible.
In addition to teaching classes, I strive to expand my fascination with message transmission into two other fields: communication through social media and also through teaching piano and music theory. You might think these are too different, but if you manage to find the common thread – conveying a message – you would see that the instruments are different (visual, auditory, or verbal), but the idea remains the same. I manage to balance my versatility in this way, and I find balance in working with students one-on-one by taking an interest in getting to know who my student truly is, and through this personal approach, we find the best way together to master the Serbian language.
